About the Website
Sigma STEM for Girls is an educational website that provides free online STEM workshop videos, resources, and services to students since the year of 2020.
The website was created by Emily Ren in May 2020. It was also the time period when the COVID-19 pandemic forced all schools in the US to switch to distance learning.
As a STEM enthusiast, Emily has been organizing a variety of online and in-person STEM workshops and activities in local communities. Among them are the monthly Fun Bio & Chem Workshop Series since July 2020 and the weekly Pathway to USABO Workshop Series since May 2022.
The videos of those workshops and activities have been shared on this website for free, so that more students from different parts of the world can watch these educational videos, enjoying, learning, and empowering themselves with STEM skills.
